Essential Mongolian Phrases

to know to survive.

The Top 10 ...

ö is pronounced as ir in bird (ɵ)
ü is pronounced as u in hook (ʊ)
l is pronounced as a fricative l (ɮ), held and breathy, a voiced Welsh ll
kh is pronounced as ch in Bach (x)
v is pronounced as ʋ (midway between w and v)
Doubled vowels indicate long vowels.
