Serbian is a spoken by about 11 million speakers, most of them in Serbia, Bosnia, Hercegovina and Montenegro. There are also large numbers of Serbian speakers in Austria, Hungary, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and Chile. Serbian is a member of the family of South Slavic languages which include Bosnian, Croatian, Slovenian, Bulgarian and Macedonian.
