What format are the eBooks in?The eBooks are are packaged as .exe files. They do not need a special reader or software to open.
Why is my security software flagging these eBooks?
Security software may ask your permission to open these eBooks because they are encoded as self-standing executable files.
I don't want to download .exe files. Can I have them posted to me on a CD-Rom??
Yes, we can deliver them to you via a CD-ROM. Simply pay for postage here and they will be posted out to you within 2 working days.
Any orders placed on a weekend or public holiday may not be processed until the next working day.
Will these eBooks work on a MAC or on Linux?
MAC users need Virtual PC or similar to view these eBooks. Linux users need WINE or similar to view these eBooks.
Does any special reader need to be downloaded?
No, all the eBook are packaged as .exe files. They do not need a special reader.No, due to software restrictions these eBooks do NOT contain audio.
No, you are not permitted to sell these eBooks or claim them as your own.
Please note: When you download an eBook you have the right to use that eBook under a Single Licence agreement. The eBook is protected by copyright and cannot be resold or distributed in any way. View the Single Licence here. How do I get my eBooks to look larger on the screen?
These eBooks are designed to be viewed on a 800 x 600 screen. The eBooks may be viewed on screens set at higher resolutions (such as 1024 x 768) but they will appear a little smaller.
How do I change my screen resolution?
Right click on an empty area of your desktop, click "Properties", click the tab "Settings", under "Screen Resolution" move the slider to "800 by 600 pixels". The screen will go dark for a moment then reappear with the new resolution.
How do I turn off the background colour?
Double-click on the file to open your eBook. When the eBook is opened, the background will automatically change to a solid colour to allow you to better view your eBook. You can turn off the background colour at any time by right clicking on the eBook to bring up the menu. You can then click the background on or off. Alternatively, there is a special "On/Off Background" button on the first page.
Click on "Menu" on the top left hand corner of your eBook. Click "File" and select "PrintActualSize" or "FullSize". For best results, click on Preferences in the Printer window that appears and select "Landscape". The quality of the printedeBook will depend on how up-to-date your printer driver is.
What does printer error 3 mean when I print?
This error occurs when the printer does not support certain Windows print settings required by the eBook to print. The eBooks support a wide variety of printers, unfortunately some printers or their drivers may lack the basic requirements to print certaineBooks. if your printer driver is out-of-date, you may be able to find an up-to-date driver on the internet.
Blue Jellyfish Press will totally respect your privacy. We will not divulge any information from or about customers to a third party. We do not hold any information about customers on the internet. We only collect information necessary to fulfil orders and this is held offline.
Blue Jellyfish Press respects your privacy. We use any information that we collect about you to process your orders. PayPal processes all payments so we never view your payment details directly. Your information is never shared, sold or otherwise passed on to a third party.
What do you do with the information collected?
When you place an order we receive your name, email address and delivery address from PayPal. We never see your payment details. Blue Jellyfish Press does not collect any personal information about individuals except when provided by such individuals.
